Sugarboo Farms Wedding Inspiration
Styled shoots are some of my favorite shoots to work with and these Sugarboo Farms Wedding Inspiration Photos in Georgia are some of the best I’ve ever photographed. As a wedding Photographer, it allows you more freedom to experiment and try things out that you wouldn’t be able to for a client, and also gives you the chance to partner up with some amazing vendors and create beautiful art together. For this particular shoot of Sugarboo Farms Wedding Inspiration Photos in Georgia, we did an elopement style session during a Sawyer Baird workshop I attended with a wonderful real life couple back in Fall of 2015. Elopement sessions are always such a sweet experience, as it allows the photographer too really capture the love and intimacy between this couple, rather than getting so much of the details. All of the vendors involved did such a great job putting this all together, and we had a wonderful stylist who made this shoot really pop and come to life. The theme of this “Sugarboo Farms Wedding Inspiration” shoot was simple and relaxed, yet showed a true sense of natural intimacy. From the delicacy of the flowers, to the easy, calming flow of the dress, you can’t help but be completely enamored with the scene.
This photo is one of my personal favorites from the shoot. We took this shoot over at Sugarboo Farms back in Fall, and the setting could not be more perfect. The tall delicate trees and the muted color palette create such a wonderful backdrop for this setup. Simply Charming Socials did an amazing job styling this session. Every detail was on point, from the layout, to the greenery on the poles, and even the way the fabric was draped, it was set up perfectly. The canopy bed and crisp candles created such an intimate setting, and it appears that they couple almost melts into the clean linens that surround them. And of course, we could not have asked for better lighting even if we tried- talk about a real fairy tale setting!
This dress from The Sentimentalist was absolutely perfect for this shoot! With all of its flowing layers and light, airy fabric, the bride looked simply stunning. One of my favorite details of this dress is the bodice. The straps create a sophisticated approach to the typical halter look, which accentuates the elegant top layer of the dress. The bottom of the dress is stunning too, and the shorter dress underneath the sheer white layers adds a level of functionality and softness. Forage and Fleur created a beautiful floral arrangement. Simple, classic, and natural, this bouquet adds the perfect finishing touch to the scene. The all green color palate really accentuated the surroundings, yet still looks breathtaking against the whispy layers of white.
This beautiful ring from Trumpet and Horn made the perfect wedding band for this elopement shoot. The simple design tied in so well with the theme, yet the all diamond structure added a sense of glamour and poise. Sometimes an all diamond band can look gaudy, yet the simple round cuts were just the perfect size. I personally loved the lighting in this shot so much- the way the light hits where the two hands meet was absolutely breathtaking, and makes an emphasis on the unity of two hearts.
You have to admit; this couple is absolutely precious. They were simply radiant; everything around them just seemed to be a little bit brighter. This moment captured such a sweet, intimate bond between these two just perfectly, and their love for each other radiates far beyond the image. Some Claudia Girl did a wonderful job with hair and makeup, keeping the bride looking polished and elegant, while still maintaining the soft, airy glow of the surroundings. And can we just take a moment to appreciate the red man bun? Not all men can pull it off, but dare I say, he makes it look so polished. The earrings from Petals and Stones were also such a nice touch, highlighting the soft white dress so elegantly.
I don’t know about you, but I love a great detail shot. This shot was one of my absolute favorites of the “Sugarboo Farms Wedding Inspiration” shoot. The light hit the ground in such a beautiful and natural way, and the delicacy of her feet grazing the grass makes this scene look almost ethereal. This shot also really showcased the movement of the dress itself. It really made for the perfect outdoor dress! Shooting in Savannah during Fall made for the perfect backdrop, especially since some of the leaves had just fallen. I also really loved how the lighting made the dress almost glow, giving it such an angelic tone.
Elopement sessions are such a unique and intimate experience, and it’s amazing to see the love and chemistry that radiates between the couple. Working with such a wonderful couple and all of these talented vendors really allowed us to showcase our skills and expertise in such a beautiful and sophisticated way. Yet keeping the sweet, romantic tone of a true elopement. A special thank you to Sugarboo Farms, for letting us use their breathtaking venue, Simply Charming Socials for their styling and direction, Forage and Fleur for creating such beautiful floral arrangements, The Sentamentalist, for allowing us to use their gorgeous dress, Some Claudia Girl, for highlighting the glow of our models with hair and makeup, Petals and Stones, for the use of their stunning jewelry pieces, and Trumpet and Horn, for the use of their precious ring.
