Manaus transfer pick up. 830am. 3hr van ride on paved road to Eco Lodge. Check in. Rest up and get situated with your surroundings.

Transfer to Manaus, 3hrs by hotel provided van, on paved road. Late flight to Sao Luis, this all depends on flight availability in 2026. Private car pick up, check into basic business traveler type hotel just to rest.

Arrive into Fortaleza airport, private car pick up, check into hotel. (no meals included in this leg) Free time to explore Fortaleza, or recover from jetlag.

Day 3

Morning flight, arrive into Manaus airport, private car pick up, check into ecolodge sister hotel. (no meals included in this leg) Free time to explore Manaus.

Depart→ Fortaleza → Manaus → Amazon Jungle → São Luís → Barreirinhas → Atins → Barreirinhas → São Luis → São Paulo → Mata Atlantica → Jericoacoara → Fortaleza → Return

Day 9

8am transfer, 4 hour private van ride to Barreirinhas. Stopping along the way for photos. On arrival: boat transfer up the Preguiças River to Atins, stopping in Vassouras have lunch at riverside eat, and continue by boat stopping to photograph the Scarlet Ibis
Check-in at pousada in Atins

Day 10

Guided tours of Lençóis Maranhenses: dunes and lagoons, with sunrise, sunset, and astro photography opportunities, weather allowing.

Transfer by road between Manaus and the lodge, with 2 regular departures per day, both on arrival and departure.
