Savannah's enchanting period architecture, horse-drawn carriages, cobblestoned streets, and veils of Spanish moss dancing with the wind charm you as soon as you set foot in. The undeniable glamour has a captivating backdrop wherever you look.

The city is so beautiful that Union General Sherman spared the city after burning Atlanta to the ground during the Civil War. However, after seeing the lush town, he decided not to harm it and gave the city to President Lincon as a Christmas gift.

Itinerary
We'll start gathering at a delightful AirBnB in Downtown Savannah to review our itinerary and get to know each other. Our evening will open with bites from the exquisite local cuisine on JW Marriott's rooftop overlooking the stunning river views. Then, in sequence, you'll get a long exposure instruction downstairs by Bay Street and River Street, with the river margins on one side and the famous river shops.
Have your comfortable shoes the following day because we'll photograph our way walking around Savannah and its most iconic sites all day, stopping for a relaxing lunch, instruction, and image review, and closing the day with the inventive and finest Southern cuisine at one of the city's most well-known restaurants.
With an early start, we'll hit the asphalt toward Skidaway Island for a sunrise session and walk the trails of Wormsloe State afterward. You'll have a chance to put your spin on the quintessential historic Plantation. Both unique locales will surely surprise you with their peculiar scenery.
SAVANNAH - Emerald City of the South
In the afternoon, we'll review more images and study the editing. Finally, before sunset, we'll position ourselves across the river for a River Street composite class. I"ll guide you through the technique, and it will be a priceless addition to your portfolio.
Our following day begins before sunset again to ensure we'll be at Tybee Island when the majestic sun rises on the horizon. With the sun up, it is time to register Fort Pulaski and the Light House. After lunch, we'll soak in the picturesque movie set site: The Bonaventure Cemetery.
The day is over once we adventure ourselves at Ebenezer Creek. The ethereal black water river will instantly transport you to an eerie movie with its astonishing cypresses and Tupelo trees. If it is our lucky day, we'll see alligators, waterfowl, turtles, and other fauna.
The next morning, we'll have another class, go to lunch and wrap up our workshop on a two-hour boat ride, calmly sailing for a last sunset session and celebrating with champagne!
I've been living and photographing Savannah for the last 15 years. The Low Country region never ceases to awe me with its picturesque topography that stamps a smile on my and everyone's face when exposed to Savannah's never-ending magnetism!

- the current light station displays its 1916 day mark with 178 stairs
- has been guiding mariners into the Savannah River for over 270 years
WORMSLOE
- magnificent live oak avenue is one of Savannah's most admired postcards
over 400 oak trees smothered by Spanish moss among the Wormsloe ruins. A requirement in your portfolio!

DEPOSITS: A non-refundable $2,500 deposit holds your spot. If something comes up, you can transfer this deposit to a friend or to another workshop. The remaining tuition balance is due no later than 90 days before the starting date.
CANCELLATIONS: 120 days or more: your deposit is transferable to another of our workshops with no fees. 90 to 120 days: refund of 50% minus the deposit. 90 days or less: we won't be able to refund you. At any point and moment, if you wish to find someone to take your place, you must make all adequate financial arrangements with said person and notify Luana asap for the transfer at luanastudiomanager@gmail.com.
SINGLE OCCUPANCY: The accommodations are for double occupancy. A private room accommodation can be arranged for an additional charge of $1,000.

BRING A SIGNIFICANT OTHER: Participants are encouraged to bring a non-photographer partner to experience the adventure together! Your significant other pay only 50% of the tuition and will not participate in photography classes and other photographers-only sites and events.
