Mini Save The Date Session At Forsyth Park

 

 

 

Young love is one of the most precious things in life, and for Kristen and Drew, their love story is full of sweet and heartfelt romance. These two have been dating since they were fifteen years old, and they are extremely excited to continue sharing life’s biggest milestone’s together, including marrying each other! Throughout the entire experience, Kristen and Drew inspired me and gave me such joy as I watched them interact. Although they had never been photographed professionally, these two sweethearts were complete naturals in front of the camera, and might I say, they looked absolutely breathtaking.

 

As for many couples, picking Savannah as their engagement or wedding location was a no brainer. Between the rich culture, stunning architecture, and captivating scenery, it’s hard NOT to fall in love with this beautiful city. Kristen recently moved here to Savannah to pursue her graduate degree, which made the decision that much easier. While planning the engagement session, Kristen and Drew decided on iconic Forsyth Park to take their photos, and I think it’s safe to say that was the perfect choice. Kristen really wanted to have a comfortable and cool dress for the outdoor setting, yet still capture movement and color through it as well. Well, she definitely captured that in her gorgeous choice, and these two both looked incredibly stunning.

 

When it comes to making the big wedding decisions, this couple has opted to go for soft and romantic, yet with a bit of fun too. With the wedding date set for December 31st, 2016, Kristen and Drew are sure to ring in the New Year with a bang. While planning a wedding can be a bit stressful for most, Kristen described the process as “a blast.” Since they’ve been dating for such a long time, getting married has been on their minds for quite some time, so now it’s just getting those final pieces of the puzzle in line. For Kristen’s dress, she is going to be wearing a gorgeous mermaid dress with an open back and lace details. Most brides can spend months trying to decide on their perfect dress, however, Kristen was able to find her perfect fit on the third try! I suppose the third time really was the charm.

 

Working with Kristen and Drew has been an absolute joy so far, and I am honored to be involved in this process with them. For the time being, they have been doing long distance for the first time in their relationship, but they are taking each day in full stride. Kristen looks forward to their nightly phone calls, where they have been able to catch up on the day, and talk about sharing their new lives together. Because of the length of their relationship, Kristen and Drew feel confident that marriage is going to feel very natural for them. Between all of the milestones they have already experienced together, to the new ones that lie ahead, they cannot wait to finally call each other husband and wife. They both are looking forward to enjoying the simple moments in life, such as making chocolate chip pancakes and settling in to their new house together.
