Mastin Labs Preset Tutorial for Canon

In this 2 minute Mastin Labs preset tutorial for Canon I will show you how to fix the weird contouring happening in certain images when applying preset or just plain editing.

I shot the image you see on my Contax 645. The photo is from a wedding styled shoot I photographed in Savannah, GA. The film was Fuji400h developed and scanned with basic scans from the Find Lab. Once applying the preset to the image I get this weird contouring, this video shows you how to fix it.

I know a lot of people get basic scans and try to edit themselves. However I highly suggest getting premium scans. They will make your life much easier and save you time. For this shoot I got basic scans and I regret it to this day. I don’t have the negatives anymore so I can’t re-scan them. Another lesson learned there.
