Savannah Fine Art Wedding Photography in the Low Country

Savannah is full of photographers of every type. People who photograph every subject under the sun including weddings, families, dogs, and food. However, most (99%) photograph their subjects with a digital camera. Myself on the other hand, I like to think that I bring to Savannah Fine Art Photography.

All you need to do is visit my blog posts and you will see my Fine Art approach at capturing at photographing 40+ weddings a year. Before you start diving in, it might be good to give you some background about me and why I started this blog. I have been a wedding photographer and wedding videographer in Savannah for almost 4 years and I am yet to tire from seeing the how the sun gently kisses the oak trees during a wedding ceremony illuminating and blessing a bride and groom. I definitely consider myself one for the best wedding photographers in Savannah, that is, if the deciding factor is who has the most enthusiasm for creating beautiful wedding photos in this gorgeous and historical landscape. But in all seriousness, being a Fine Art wedding Photographer in Savannah means a lot of things. Firstly, it means professionalism and attentiveness to the couples and their needs. Every wedding is different so creating stunning photos of the bride and groom are always my priority in every wedding. Secondly, before I could call myself a Fine Art wedding Photographer, I had to put in the work, to acquire the knowledge, to provide quality services to the couples in a manner that is up to industry standards. Lastly, creativity ads the final component to being a Fine Art wedding Photographer, being able to provide the quality services in a creative and artistic manner. This is where the next component comes in…. the “Art” in Savannah Fine Art Photography.

I consider myself a Fine Art Photographer as I still shoot ‘old-school’ film on my Contax 645 and my Canon EOS 1V. I know that this might not mean anything to you but just know that I am using the best cameras and film that money can buy. Although crafting wedding photos with film might seem antiquated, film is actually a wonderful medium in which to create Fine Art Wedding photos in Savannah. When you ad in the stunning backlit moss plus the bride and groom with film… you get magic! This combo creates a wonderful soft glow that you cant get any other way. I know this difference comes across in my wedding photos and I could not imagine shooting any other way. By the way, you can view my entire portfolio here where you can browse stunning mossy images filled with the gorgeous Savannah light that make my wedding photos so magical! I hope you enjoy spending time on my site, and feel free to contact me with any questions.
